The Cabernet Franc adds character and personality to this typical blend. At the nose, an attack of cranberries and morello cherries, followed by green bell pepper, fresh red flowers and volcanic lava ashes. The candied violets and a balsamic note of pine tree complete the rich bouquet. At the palate it is warm, balanced and yet fresh. Tannins are present, well integrated and not overwhelming.
Definitively Napa, with a touch of French style.
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot
Pairing: Succulent dishes such as beef ox-tail, goulash, or a venison and creamy mashed potatoes.
