A classic Bourgogne Chardonnay with the mineral twist of the Meursault sub-region, this organic wine from the Drouhin family is complex at the nose with a start of ripe mango and acacia honey, followed by tarragon and dandelion, chalk, iodine, sea breeze, and a touch of saffron coming up. At the palate it is moderately smooth, crisp and balanced. The acidity is very well integrated with the persistent fruity and mineral presences.
Pairing: All kinds of seafood but also chicken salad. I like this Meursault with a light curry chicken or vegetables.
Appellation: Burgogne Meursault AOC, France
