Barolo Cerrati is a single cru. Its chalky soil adds complexity to the taste olfactory notes.
Ruby with orange hues, the scent of red roses at the beginning is followed by a bouquet of fresh herbs such as thyme, and balsamic eucalyptus. Forest floor and red cherries are present both at the nose and at the mouth. At the palate it is structured and complex: cherries, licorice, balsamic notes; sapidity and orange zest. The tannins are elegant and well-integrated.
Pairings: Roasted or stewed meats, game, ravioli with meat filling and butter-sage sauce; dry cheeses, dry biscuits after dinner. Mushrooms porcini dishes.
Appellation: Barolo DOGC, Piedmont, Italy
