A very typical Primitivo from the Gioa del Colle DOP appellation, this wine is limpid and dark ruby. It is intense, complex and fine. Morello cherries and blackberries arrive at the nose first, followed by iron and incense, blood orange zest and potpourri. At the palate it is dry, warm smooth and sapid. It is moderately crisp with moderate and fine tannins, full bodied and harmonious.

Pairing: Very broad pairing opportunities here: grilled or roasted red meat or tagliatelle with ragu sauce, or eggplant. Good also with tuna or swordfish.
