The Brachetto grape is very aromatic. It grows well mainly in Piemonte, Italy, and is particularly good when vinified as a dessert wine. This means terminating the fermentation early with low temperature, so that most of the natural sugar of the grape is not transformed into alcohol.
The result is a sweet sparkling wine with only 5% of alcohol. Visually, it is cherry-colored, almost looking like a dark rosè. At the nose, we have wild strawberry and raspberry, medical herbs and roses. Very refreshing, not too sweet, and crisp.

Pairing: It is good with most desserts like tiramisu and apple pie; great with milk chocolate, almonds or hazelnuts cakes.
