Mongrana is an organic blend of the crisp Sangiovese and the bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, with some Merlot to make the wine smoother. The result is a very pleasant fruity, floral and balanced red wine, with a nose of berries and tobacco leaves, carnation and a touch of mint.
Grapes: Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
Pairing: Roasted ham and mashed potatoes, all kinds of roasted red meats and game. I suggest it also with rigatoni all’amatriciana.
