A classic expression of Nebbiolo from the municipality of Serralunga d’Alba, with explicit firm tannins, integrated well with its fruitiness and acidity. The color is light garnet, typical of the grapes from this area.
On the nose the typical Nebbiolo floral (roses) and fruity (black cherries, strawberries) notes emerge, followed by a moderate scent of herbs. On the palate it starts with the tartness of the tannins and the acidity typical of Serralunga, and then back to the fruits.
It is austere and elegant and it’s aged only in stainless steel to maintain its classic expression of Nebbiolo vintages.
Grape: Nebbiolo
Pairings: Salumi boards, bruschetta. Pizza. Pasta with porcini mushrooms, tagliatelle al ragu or spaghetti cacio e pepe. If you like red wine with fish, it’s great with salmon, amberjack and grouper.
