Moscato d’Asti is a sweet, sparkling dessert wine from Piemonte, Italy. It is the perfect wine to drink after dinner because it is very low in alcohol (around 5%), but crisp and smooth at the same time. At the nose there are notes of tropical fruits, citrus, litchees, custard and white wet stones. At the palate the sweetness and the acidity are perfectly integrated, with a final touch of sapidity.
