A Barolo single cru that you can find only at TheOrganicWineStore and in a very limited selection or restaurants. A great expression of Barolo.
The color is ruby with garnet hues. At the nose, roses and tobacco leaves, forest floor, licorice, peppery notes, pine trees and hints of vanilla. At the palate it is smooth, fresh, elegant and structured with red cherries and plums. The tannins are velvety and integrated. The long finish is multi-layered and harmonious.
Grape: Nebbiolo
Pairings: All types of meats, but for sure game is the best. Dry cheeses, or cheese fondue. Pasta with mushrooms is never wrong with any Barolo.
