Fattorial Lavacchio
A family-owned estate in the Chianti DOCG area, Fattoria Lavacchio is run by Faye Lottero. She produces great organic Chianti: Puro DOC and Cedro Rufina DOCG, also available in Riserva, are smoother and easier to enjoy than a traditional Chianti. Ludiè, a single vineyard organic Rufina, is Sangiovese in purity and competes with all the best expressions of more famous super-Tuscan wines, for a quarter of the price.
