A typical expression of Nebbiolo from the municipality of Serralunga d’Alba, with explicit firm tannins, integrated with its fruitiness and acidity. The color is light garnet, again typical of the grapes.
At the nose the typical Nebbiolo floral (roses) and fruity (black cherries, strawberries) notes emerge, followed by a moderate scent of herbs. At the palate it starts with the tartness of the tannins and the acidity typical of Serralunga, and then back to the fruits.
It is austere and elegant and it’s aged only in stainless steel to maintain its typicality.
Grape: Nebbiolo
Pairings: Salumi boards, bruschetta. Pizza. Pasta with porcini mashrooms, tagliatelle al ragu or spaghetti cacio e pepe. If you like red wine with fish, it’s great with salmon, amberjack and grouper.
