Yes, it is a Chardonnay from California so, as expected, we find tropical fruit, vanilla and buttery woody notes.
But, being an exemplary expression of Santa Maria Valley in the Central Coast, minerality comes in to help balance the taste with notes of white stones and clay, white flowers and the crispness of meyer lemon.
It is a great value for lovers of lively, everyday Chardonnay.
